This was a reference to firewhiskeyfic actually, so I have no idea how to actually make Firewhiskey. (I've seen a recipe that just called for tabasco sauce instead of peppers... I imagine there's a lot of winging it going on.)
I was lazy and just had some rum and schnapps to get drunk during the fic challenge. I still have some cinnamon schnapps leftover and I just pretended it was "firewhiskey". (I switched over to butterscotch schnapps by the end of the night and cheerfully pretended that was "butterbeer". I'm not really about accuracy when it comes to booze. Does it taste good? Was it cheap? Does it get me drunk? Those are my only criteria.)
