Hello all!

After speaking with the wonderful hosts of the

snowflake_challenge, this offshoot community was created. More details to come later, but for now please feel free to join and subscribe so that you will be in the loop when the challenge starts.

We are looking to host a 7 prompt challenge this July as a counterpoint to the winter challenge that kickstarts each year. If there are any ideas or suggestions you have, please feel free to share them here (DM is also fine if you don't want the rough idea on a public post). I will also need some help to run the event, so any volunteers can also chime in here or send me a DM.

For sure! I've got things slated in my calendar for when to spend time working (the next 2 weeks are pretty solid for me so probably Feb I'll dig into this again in earnest), but brainstorms are always welcome. I have this post and then there is a locked post on my page as well - wherever you're more comfortable. :)

Ditto. I just posted a long comment on your journal which was essentially me procrastinating on getting back to the housecleaning. I always get ideas for things when I'm supposed to be doing other things.

There's no need to tell me about the brain going other places issue because I have the same one. At least now with smartphones I can jot down notes for things wherever I am?

And on that note, I should probably add to this post that if someone has an idea but doesn't want to put the raw form on this public page, they are very welcome to send me a DM to share!

I just downloaded yet another task manager app. (They always seem like they're going to be brilliant when I first start and they're always a headache for one reason or another and I've deleted half the ones I've tried. But I *think* I've finally sorted it down to one that's best for lists of one time tasks and one that's best for reminders of recurring tasks.)
